Amazing Course
And everything else you expect from a world class event
On Saturday, July 25th 2026, the brand new SUM 50 course presents Sydney’s premier 50km trail race.
A 51km loop spanning Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park and the wider trail network.
The SUM 50 starts at St Ives Showground before entering the Wildflower Gardens, where technical single track winds through sandstone and native bush. From there, the course moves into the North Turramurra Trails, passing through ridge-top vegetation, heath and tall open forest. The trail runs along the edge of vast bushland, with views north into the wilds of Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park.
The course then enters into Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park via Murrua Track, before opening onto Bobbin Head Fire Trail, a long, runnable section that finishes with the best view of Bobbin Head Marina. It narrows again on Warimoo Track, following Cowan Creek on shaded waterfront single track, before returning through the Wildflower Gardens and finishing back at St Ives Showground.
